A Sacred Journey Through Peru: Inside the Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu Yoga Retreat

Machu Picchu Retreat Peru

Before details. Before logistics. Before pricing.

I want to share the shape of the journey — so you can feel what it would be like to move through Peru this way.

This experience is intentionally designed to unfold slowly, honoring the altitude, the land, and the deep intelligence of the Sacred Valley. Expect daily yoga practices, spacious downtime, and moments of wonder that can’t be scheduled.

Here’s what awaits you:

Arrival | Coming Home to the Valley You’ll arrive in Cusco and travel into the Sacred Valley, where the air softens, and the mountains hold you. We’ll settle in, meet our circle, and gather for a warm welcome dinner—the beginning of a shared journey.

Opening | Acclimation & Ceremony Our first full day is about arrival on every level. A sacred opening ceremony, gentle yoga, and sound healing allow the body to acclimate and the nervous system to exhale. Nothing to rush. Nowhere else to be.

Pilgrimage | Journey to Machu Picchu After morning practice and breakfast, we travel by train to Machu Picchu city, where we spend the night. This pause matters. It prepares us for what’s to come.

Machu Picchu | The Threshold We arrive early, when the site is quiet and receptive. You’ll spend the morning exploring Machu Picchu—not consuming it, but meeting it. Letting the ancient energy activate, inspire, and speak in its own way.

Integration | Pisac & the Body Morning yoga grounds us before visiting Pisac. The afternoon invites hands-on connection through a Thai Massage workshop, followed by yoga nidra for deep rest and assimilation.

Exploration | Land & Lineage We move through Maras, Moray, and Urubamba—salt mines, ruins, and village life— feeling how history, land, and modern life coexist. The day closes with yin yoga and progressive muscle relaxation.

Closing | Ceremony & Celebration Our final full day brings us back together in ceremony—honoring what’s shifted, what’s been remembered, and what you’ll carry home. We close with a playful, heartfelt practice that celebrates joy and integration.

Departure | Carrying It Forward After breakfast, we travel back to Cusco — changed, connected, and deeply nourished.

This is not a packed itinerary.

It’s a guided unfolding.

Details may shift slightly with season and availability, but the essence remains the same: intentional movement, sacred land, meaningful rest, and a journey that meets you exactly where you are.

Next, I’ll be sharing registration details.

Until then, let yourself imagine waking up in the valley…moving slowly…standing on ancient stone…and returning home with something quietly profound.
